Wall Township is located in southern Monmouth County and covers a 31 square mile area just inland from the Atlantic Ocean.  It is surrounded by some of the best Jersey Shore communities, namely Manasquan, Sea Girt, Spring Lake, and Shark River Hills.  Even though it is close to these residential communities and several shopping centers, it also has areas of rural farmland.  There is also a State park, rivers and forested lands just ready for hiking, boating, fishing and camping.  These facts, along with Wall Township being just a mile or two from the Atlantic Ocean shore, gives Wall Township its unique character and reputation.

Wall township have a wide variety of diverse neighborhoods that offer a wide-range of homes to choose from.  There are large multimillion-dollar mansions with views of the Manasquan River, and tracks of farmlands for horses, vegetable, etc., as well as cozy bungalows, historic turn-of-the-century buildings, to the large traditional Cape Cods.  Wall is known for having a great number of good-sized homes on properties of a half-acre or more.  These have been accomplished as many of the older farms were sold for development over the last several decades.  The local farms that remain offer a number of opportunities for fun, such as horseback riding and picking-your-own vegetables.  Wall Township is also home to many small parks and full 18-hole golf course, and, of course, the public beaches just a few minutes drive away.

Wall Township Schools

There are four public schools for elementary students from full-day kindergarten to Grade 5: Allenwood, Central, Old Mill and West Belmar.  Wall Township also has its own Primary and Intermediate School of more than 900 students and Wall High School serves about 1,200 students.   A unique education opportunity is offered by the Wall Township vocational Communications High School.   Thre is also an opportunity for students to attend one of the several private schools offered by neighboring boroughs.
